Connie Taylor Henderson
A Pacific Northwest Native
I am proud to say I have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life. I worked as a paralegal for many years while also taking college classes, graduating from Lewis Clark State College with a business degree in 1988. I earned my Juris Doctorate from the University of Idaho College of Law. I am licensed to practice in both Idaho and Washington state and federal courts.
My Legal Career
For many years, I was a partner at the Clark and Feeney law firm in Lewiston, Idaho, with a practice focusing on personal injury, medical negligence, and family law cases. I married Paul Henderson and we established the Henderson Law Firm, PLLC, which became the Henderson Taylor Law Firm in 2015.
My practice continues to focus on helping clients negotiate their way through difficult times in their lives, whether it be from medical malpractice, an injury from an auto collision, or the dissolution of their marriage.
Giving Back
When I am not working or enjoying the outdoors (skiing, hiking, and flying with Paul), one of my favorite activities is teaching. I have instructed high school mock trial teams, and I am a regular instructor at the University of Idaho’s civil trial advocacy program. I graduated from the Gerry Spence Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming in 2001, and have been an instructor in that program since 2003, teaching trial skills to attorneys from around the U.S.

In 1968, I volunteered for the Army. I went to an NCO school, was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, and went to Vietnam. I served in combat units with the 101st Airborne Division...

Focused on Community
I grew up in Lewiston, Idaho, right on the Washington border. Much of my time growing up was spent deep in the wilderness of Northern Idaho, hunting, fishing, skiing, and hiking. I married my junior high sweetheart and our family lives in the Hough neighborhood in Vancouver. We spend most of our free time skiing, attending Timbers games, riding bikes, and BBQing with friends...
